Recording Experience Days - A day or half a day in a Professional Recording Studio like River Studios can make the most amazing and unique gift.

We have provided sessions for wedding presents (between the happy couple!), rewards for passing exams, corporate incentive schemes and personal development plans, hen/stag parties, engagement presents and confidence building experience as well as the more traditional Birthday and Christmas gifts.

A typical Recording Studio Experience Day would go something like this:-

Arrive at our fantastic customised 1903 building, come through reception, head upstairs to the Waiting Area/ Cafe and when it’s time for your session, we’ll come to fetch you from there. If you like, we can give you a brief tour of the complete facility then down to business! Run through the song or songs you have chosen, with the engineer/producer and they’ll give you all the practical help they can before ushering you into the live room to begin your first take.

When they has as much as they need, you’re back through into the control room, to the comfy leather sofa, while you watch them edit your best bits together and then tweak them to create your final vocal performance.

Then it’s mixed and mastered to CD. If you’ve brought a picture with you, a CD face is designed incorporating that picture and then printed directly onto the CD. You can have as many CDs as we can print and burn in the time left of your session. If you run out of time, or want more at another date, copies are available at a small extra charge.

We can also customise the day to be, for instance, a day with one of our engineer/producers, working on an original song idea for someone who writes songs, or a band recording if the session was bought for someone who plays in a band. We have even had Recording Studio vouchers bought for people who just wanted to spend the day being taught how to do Studio Production and Home Recording better for their home studios
