Piano Lessons

'No matter what your experience or ability, music is about having fun and being creative. I aim to make sure all my students look forward to their lessons, and strive to improve from nailing the basics to playing the songs they love as well as perhaps writing some of their own!'

Nat started playing drums at just 8 years old and quickly moved through a variety of instruments with ease, she discovered the Guitar from just 12 years old. Nat is an all round musician and singer. She started playing piano and songwriting whilst at Taunton's College, and now is an accomplished pianist. She has been playing & studying Gospel Piano under Emmanuel Waldren, and now plays & sings with 3 gospel choirs in the Southampton area. Nat is experienced in leading group workshops, and teaching 121 lessons in both piano & guitar. She is passionate, an all round musician. Nat is a session pianist at River Studios and is currently working on her first album.

I like to focus on the individual goals and talents of each of my students, making sure that they enjoy and can play the style of music they want. We start with the theory and the basics and work at pace to suit each individual. Once the basics are mastered, we'll start listening to music and songs and start to work it out together. Today's music industry is reliant on playing from ear and being able to work out the chords and the melody by listening and playing, this is a skill I like to teach all my students

- Learning to play pieces of your own choice.

- Learning new techniques by playing recommended pieces.

- Useful & practical music theory 

- Improvisation workshops.

- Using music technology to create the right sound for a song.
