Birdy
We've been lucky enough to work with Birdy since she was 12 years old, but even then, most people that heard her songs knew she was something special.
She won the under 18's section of Open Mic and her prize was studio time with Gareth Henderson.
It was the demo's that she recorded with him that her father credits as getting her a publishing deal. That lead to her record deal with 14th Floor Records (part of Atlantic Records) and since then she's been on a rollercoaster ride.
Currently her debut album has gone Gold in the UK, Platinum in Europe and she's had over 45 MILLION hits on Youtube.
Her recent performances on the Ellen Show and Conan chat shows in the US have only added to that.
We are proud to have taken part in recording that album and indeed in the recordings that she's done since.
With a track on the new Hunger Games Movie CD, her star is very much in the ascendant... oh and yes, "Birdy" is her real name......sort of!
